| The Springfield Armory manufactured 5,735 M-1902 Officers Sabers with numerous variations. For type classifications, we choose to use the Springfield Armory signature found on the ricasso. Until 2005, it was believed there were four variants, however a fifth signature has been found and verified. Types are assigned by estimated numbers of sabers observed. | |||
